Ordering a Hot Tub FAQ's

We're thrilled that you're considering bringing the luxury of a hot tub to your outdoor space. Our hot tubs are incredible products that transform your backyard into your very own spa oasis. We've compiled a list of our most frequently asked questions to help you make an informed decision:

Can I pay the full price upfront or leave a deposit?

You have the option to choose either payment method. On each product, you can select to pay in full or leave a 10% deposit. If you choose to leave a deposit, we'll reserve your hot tub for you. Once it's ready to be dispatched, a member of our team will contact you to arrange payment of the remaining balance.

What happens if I change my mind after leaving a deposit?

It depends on the situation. If the hot tub has been customized to your specific requirements, we may need to retain your deposit, unless we've missed our delivery commitment to you. For items that we have in stock, we can typically refund the deposit since we can sell it to another customer.

How will the hot tub be delivered, and what are the costs?

When you place an order for a hot tub or leave a deposit, we won't charge you a delivery fee. When your hot tub is ready for delivery, one of our team members will contact you to schedule the delivery. We'll then charge a fair delivery fee based on your location and property access. We don't aim to profit from delivery charges, and our fees only reflect the actual cost.

How will the hot tub be moved into place?

We use a special trolley designed to transport the hot tub from our trailer to its desired location. The hot tub is placed on its side during transportation, so please ensure that its height will fit through any gates or doorways while in this position. Additionally, the trolley isn't very flexible, so it's important to ensure that there's plenty of space for us to maneuver it along the pathway.

If you have steps on the way to the hot tub's location, we'll need the assistance of at least 7 able-bodied people to help lift it up and over the steps.

What if the access points are too narrow?

If your access points are too narrow, we can arrange for a crane to lift your hot tub over your property. This service will incur additional charges.

What preparation do I need to do before delivery?

Before we deliver your hot tub, you'll need to make sure that the location is big enough, level, and able to support the weight of the hot tub when it's filled with water and people. The surface should also be solid and able to support the hot tub.

You'll also need to ensure that there's an electricity supply. Some of our hot tubs are 13AMP Plug and Play which means they can plug straight into a standard US socket. If you're running the hot tub from an indoor socket, make sure it has a RCD breaker and that the cable is inside protective conduit. Alternatively, you can plug it into an IP65 waterproof socket.

If your hot tub requires a 32AMP supply, you'll need to have a certified electrician fit the correct supply.

Leaving access for your hot tub

Remember to leave access to the front of your hot tub, as the panel is removable and you may need to access the components for maintenance. If you're sinking the hot tub into the ground or below decking, please ensure that you have easy access.

What makes our hot tubs special?

The highest quality hot tubs are made in America, but they come with a hefty price tag because the brands sell them to US distributors, who sell them to UK distributors, who then sell them to UK retailers, and finally to you. By the time you get your hot tub, the price has significantly increased.

Our hot tubs use all the same components as the leading American brands but without the expensive price tag. They feature Aristech acrylic shells, LX pumps, Gecko or Balboa control systems, PVC long-lasting skirts, and EVA insulated bases.

Why is a hammock company selling hot tubs?

We talk to hundreds of customers every week, helping them to enhance their outdoor living spaces with our amazing hammocks. We often heard that our customers were looking to purchase a hot tub and asked if we could recommend any. Then, the US went into lockdown and our founder decided to buy a hot tub for his garden. After months of research, he came across an amazing UK supplier that was offering fantastic hot tubs featuring all the leading American components but without the expensive price tag. Since we only sell products that we would use ourselves, we decided to start offering our customers hot tubs that we can stand behind.
